As for the topic subject, I don't really know anything about those processors. I'm not currently looking to buy computing equipment so I'm not really up to date on these things.

I think this for AMD's APU processors. For gaming enthusiasts, this isn't going to mean a whole lot, but for the general market this is a much bigger deal because it means you could have cheap systems shipping with capable GPUs built as part of the processor. The main competitor to this is Intel integrated graphics, which is crap for anything related to 3D.

A cheap and good gpu capable of running games like half-life 2 at least could really boost really boost the market for AMD.

In 2011 you don't need a good GPU to max out Half-Life 2, let alone running it.
