That's what happened to me as well. After it got through the servers of my ISP, it began to timeout and continued to timeout until it completed at hop 30.

Yup, it's either down or DDoSed... I knew a friend that did something similar once, but his was a GWbasic program that would make the screen flash between all of the primary colors, then say "Are you seizured yet?".
