This one i want to like and most things is a competent diablo clone. Except one mechanic. Which is the hazard mechanic, when you are in cold without any source of heat it goes up. When full you take damage and only way for it to go down you gotta stay next to a fire and do nothing. Later on when you enter a world with an atmosphere that is poisonous to your char you have to find caves to hide in (makes sense i know). This stupid hazard thing may sound good in theory but in practice it means you have to pay attention to it ALL THE TIME! Which is not only annoying but the only practical way to deal with it is to stop playing and running back or going forward hoping to find a safe place where you can stop playing the game and wait for it to go away. Just so you can play it a few more minutes before you are forced to stop playing the game.

It looks like a Diablo clone, but it plays more like a twin stick game and manually dodging is crucial and so this title is best played with a controller. There's also the exposure mechanic that's in place as a passive debuff in many levels, but honestly I didn't pay much attention to it, I believe it's very manageable as long as you don't just go full heavy armor without any movement speed bonuses.

Overall I found Vikings: Wolves of Midgard to be rather generic, but very fun to play. I'll probably just forget about it one day, but it was fun while it lasted.
