Feels incomplete to me when playing... Like there's no endgame content, just the initial building of things.

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

Super tense if you play online. Constantly switching buildings and trying to figure out what is the most valuable resource. Only the ending can feel a bit anticlimatic as you are both just trying to make money quickly and and suddenly you die because he bought you out. Or you manage to get it and in one click he's gone. You can also buy extra's from hte menu in the bottom right. These feel a bit broken. Every time one is bought it raises its price. But some are nobrainers at the low price point. Like  getting an extra claim. As a result at the start of the game you and your opponent both hammer the button to buy it as soon as it unlocks. Same with goonsquad, its too good. And its not like you have to use it immediately, you can just keep it.

Single-player did not work for me. Too short, too fast, too pointless. Probably fine for competitive multiplayer, seemed like it had some interesting different RTS mechanics going for it.

imagine an RTS where you cant see what the other person is doing. that's this game.

The UI might as well be a spreadsheet. you defeat your opponents by buying a big enough stake in their company.

the game wants you to compete for resources by making decisions on what investments to make and asking you to sabotage other players investments, but what happens is another player just saves up enough money and buys out all your shares and you lose immediately.

it's like having a fleet of motherships come over and wipe out your base in starcraft, only you cant see the ships, you cant defend against the ships, and they wipe you out as soon as they are built.

I like the expansion part of the game, and would love to play without competitors against something else, but the game focuses on competition alone. It's "hostile-takeover: the game but on Mars" and if you do a hostile takeover you don't get it, because the former enemy's colony just self-destruct. (For balancing reasons)
It's supposed to be fantastic in PvP multiplayer but I hate human competition even more than AI. So it's great game, with an interesting premise that is totally not for me. Sad face.
