Hey everyone, a friend of mine, Tom White (of Weird Videogames), is doing a marathon gaming session for a charity fundraiser he's involved with and asked me to show up for a few hours. The gaming marathon will be on twitch here and will start at 8PM EST on Nov. 20th, however I won't be showing up until 2AM EST on the 21st and will stay there a few hours. He has some other guests also, one of the most impressive being Jon St. John (the voice of Duke Nukem), here is his full schedule. I could try and record my portion of this and post the results unlisted on Youtube afterwards if people were interested. Anyway, if you were one of the people who DID like Moon Gaming, here's your chance for more, otherwise, I'll be working on the movie and the next Game Dungeon in the meantime.

EDIT:

Here's a copy of the stream below. I was unable to record the game audio. As a warning, this is mostly just us commenting on various games and isn't as substantial as the usual videos.

Good luck indeed. (I was "one of those people").

On a side note, why do you announce time in EST, Poland is in CET timezone if I remember correctly?

I would definitely like to see your portion of this Ross, since it's impossible for me to watch it at that time.

I like Tyrian...and stuff.

Majority of viewers are American probably! Makes it simpler for most people that way. :D

Also, yes, I too am "one of those people". XD We are the outsiders of the Accursed Farm fan-base.

Well, this is an incentive to fix my sleeping pattern! I'm catching a train at 11am, so if I'm up early, I might be able to catch a bit of Ross.

It will be at 8 AM, Saturday 21th, for European countries in the same timezone as Poland (everyone from Spain to... well, Poland).

If anyone has advice for recording it, let me know. I'll be on Skype with Tom, I remember OBS not cooperating when I did a test with that before since Skype would seize control away from it.

@Ross: OBS has a skitz with Skype, but I think... If you shut Skype down, start recording, then open Skype, it SHOULD behave. It's annoying but I think it works.

Well I can test that out, but if I remember, that prevented the Skype video from working. Also I would need to figure out something to record Tom on the other end. I'll hopefully have a solution before Saturday.

Who Framed Roger Rabbit definitely belongs on a lot of must see lists, and for multiple reasons. It's that rarest kind of film where one can say with authority that it's the best of its kind and it will remain the best forever. Admittedly its main competition is, what, Cool World and Space Jam? Even if the (partly true) story isn't your cup of tea, the technical accomplishment is pretty epic. It's relevant to more modern film-making too. If you want to talk about the cg heavy Star Wars prequels causing the acting to suck you kind of have to think about Roger Rabbit. Same exact kind of acting challenges, but here's a 1980's film where they overcame them with everything from good practical effects to Bob Hoskins taking lessons on how to focus his gaze on thin air.

As a bonus it was a period piece to begin with, so it's unlikely to ever become too dated looking.
