I dont think people are willing to make the HL:Decay mind series just yet...so the this thread is pretty much dead, if someone liked the idea feel free to take it and good luck with your mind series

You forgot the option of: "What game are you talking about?"

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

It was another Gearbox mod for HL, it was released only for the PS2 but some guys made a PC mod of it, its less known by most people and it has a 2-player "campaign".

Sounds like a good idea, but if it's going to be complicated when it comes to making it seem they can communicate.

I could be a writer. I'm pretty decent when it comes to making cheesy one-liners and toilet humor.

I don't like writer's block, I prefer to call it writer's parry.

Good idea

Bad game

Voice is too high to voice act

Haven't got any other skills you'd require for this (probably)

I know...but do we have another choice? Is the only Half-Life game that still dont have a mind series. Well, if we dont find voice actors we could try the vortigaunt mode but it would end up being really stupid IMO.

I honestly don't think this would work for a mind series, considering it would be two minds working simultaneously, and I have no idea how that could work as you'd have to cut between them constantly and that could be very confusing. The game is great though, been playing it with a friend a lot.

I know, the idea i had to solve this problem was to do 2 different mind series that would constantly interact with each other through conversations out loud.

Mind series are more about whats going and how 'normal' people react so simply having 2 people talking could work, I'm a guy though, so trying this for me :\

why is this dead?

And when he gets to heaven,

To saint Peter he will tell;

One more soldier reporting, sir.

I've served my time in Hell!

There is countless classic mods for half-life which could use a mind series, for example They Hunger....

"When a son is born, the father will go up to the newborn baby, sword in hand; throwing it down, he says, "I shall not leave you with any property: You have only what you can provide with this weapon."
