For me Jarkendar (Gothic 2: Night of The Raven)

Very mystical and dangerous place.

What I like is the whole idea of making Jarkendar a death, ruined and deserted land. That level has everything what I would love; big nasty swamps, a smalll desert with orange rock canyon (like in Colorado or something), deserted ruins of the great city, PIRATE BEACH! an evil temple of the dark god Beliar with a lot of catacombs, palms, waterfalls, and the most of them amazing music.

Other place in the game was a bit boring(too normal). Forests and farms, dragon's lair, the colony.

Jarkendar is one of the kind. Every animal there was purely wild. And I like the story about it too.

The wreck of Maria Doria from Tomb Raider II. The whole level feels enormous and really historic and the amount of detail and thought that has gone into it is staggering.

I liked the Offshore Rig level. When Lara woke up without any weapon.

The Round Table in Ace Combat Zero.

One of the reasons is that it's the only combat airspace on a clear sunny day. Another is that it's a very challenging level because of all the enemies.

Still today I have a hard time finding a level that beats Nova Prospekt for atmosphere.

Badwater shows off some of the most exemplary in Team Fortress aesthetic, and I have never seen a better map for competition in first person shooters.

I've always had a soft spot for trains. So Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow's mission Paris-Nice always was a fun one.

Everfrost Peaks from Everquest. Everquest was one of the very first games I played, and my very first MMORPG. The design of the zone is awesome, plus going through it brings back major nostalgia.

E1M1 or "The Hanger" from Doom. The music was awesome.

 

Gallowmere from MediEvil. Whenever I look at this map a wave of nostalgia hits me like a warhammer.
