As i was show my friend "freeman's mind" on YT i notice i was watching an esp. not on machinima put on an account named freemanmind. I have been reporting all the videos as other legal terms, because they're not my videos but someone else.

 

I E-Mailed google saying "Their should be an option for seeing someones else's work, also have a box to provide a link to the original up loader."

 

the theft's also translated the videos. By the by-laws us still illegal if he doesn't have permission to do so. The translated still has the original voice acting and the machinima logo. On freemanmind profile he/she states that "I made this so it's easier to find the videos." But a few stated that it's illegal to do so without permission, also "It's not hard to go to Ross Scott's website that is shown at the end."

 

If this post is wrongfully post or put together please fix or reposted to have it be seen by Ross Scott. I did this because I would expect the same if someone steals my work and one of my fans notice.

My immensely practical stance:

 

1) This happens all the time on Youtube. It's stupid and annoying. Horray for reporting it.

 

2) However attached you are to it, did you really need to make a thread about it?

 

3) Yes, we all like Ross Scott and Freeman's Mind, however let me give you a little nugget of common sense - almost everyone on here with an avatar has probably committed copyright infringement, if you've ever posted an image that wasn't yours on a forum that you didn't make, that's copyright infringement, and regardless of what the MPAA wants you to believe it's all pretty much the same thing, so before you go all armchair legal nazi about "stealing" (and what he's doing is NOT STEALING), keep in mind everyone is guilty of doing the same thing at some point in time.

Yup. If the owners of the copyrighted materials don't worry about it, then they obviously don't think it's wrong.

I think having two terabytes of anything counts as piracy just because if there's that much stuff, some of it is bound to be pirated.
