I just discovered this thing. Its sort of a game. You think of a person, real or fictional, and then answer questions about the person you're thinking of and the AI tires to figure out who it is. It's pretty accurate, knowing a large number of characters from a wide variety of sources. It even got the Freeman's Mind version of Dr. Gordon Freeman. Here you go: http://us.akinator.com/#

Perfectly accurate with Alan Shepard, although it could have just as easily mistook him for Virgil Grissom.

I find this a lot more entertaining than Cleverbot, but it didn't guess Terry Crews for me.

Tried to do the girl from elfen lied and it guessed Reno from FF7. even though the last question was "is your character a girl" "yes" -.-

Yeah, I noticed that too... It seems to ignore it if it has an "Is your character a girl?" question.

I don't think it ignores answers so much as clarifies them. I've noticed it may ask a certain/similar question twice if one or more of your other answers may possibly be contradictory. This is most obvious if you answer the question along the lines of 'Is your character real?' with an 'I don't know'.

 

I decided to see if it could correctly guess Herobrine, and it did.

Hah, it finally got Lucy from Elfen Lied. But then again, the "does your character have pink hair/horns" really gave it away. it didn't ask that last time.

 

Edit: I rendered him speechless!! I hit new game and the text bubble has been blank for a while..
