You would also require ~1 kilogram of matter and ~kilogram of anti-matter per shot (if the bursts last one second). And I would love to see you safely contain that much at all, never mind a container as small as a rifle. You would likely end up converting your "shield" directly into energy after your containment failed, which would be almost immediate.
