Another risk these days is in the future big companies turning games from a Product into a Service so that you have to pay to use access to them- pay for every moment of it, like WoW, as opposed to actually buying and then owning a copy of it.

I got a PS3 because, when I was looking for games I was originally looking for Xbox 360 games. I picked up Borderlands and I noticed it was also on the PS3, than I had an epiphany, "JUST GET IT ON THE PS3! WHAT WILL YOU MISS OUT ON WITH THE XBOX? HALO AND GEARS OF WAR? COME ON, WE HAVE RATCHET AND CLANK. WE SHOULDN'T EVEN BE HAVING THIS DISCUSSION!"

Gears of War could possibly be on it's way to PS3, after Epic Games saw the sucess of ME2 on PS3 they wanted a piece of the action.

I couldn't care less... Either way I make sure to get a no-DRM crack for the game. (unless it's Steam, then there is no need, just run in offline mode)
