In any case there's hope, if my inner skeptic is right and that claim is false then there's nothing to worry about, problem solved everyone can go home. If it is indeed real then we have the Vice-president of Hasbro itself looking into the issue, as even if it's real the animations are protected by fair use laws regarding parody, thus also making the claim null and void.

Nope. I haven't really watched S4 other than glimpses I catch online. And it's not because I think it sucks or anything, I'm just sitting back and seeing how everything plays out. Judging from previous posts, it seems Hasbro still has their thumbs rooted squarely inside their anal cavities.

The quality of the show has improved, but that part about Hasbro is actually pretty spot-on.

My thoughts on the newest episode as I'm watching it:

 

 

 

Like how Big Mac is swimming with the floating device. And the Flim Flam brothers are back. I don't know how I feel about this. Parasprites on a pony's hat, interesting. Well tamed Parasprites at that. A magical, all healing tonic... Hmm... I wonder were this will go[/sarcasm]. Over all, the song good. As expected, it's an act. Well at least this is a good lesson for the kids. I like how the Flim Flam brothers used A.J.'s honesty against her to sell more of the tonic. Looks like A.J. found her rainbow key. So the bit is her key? Interesting.

Ohey guys it's been a while. If you want to hear about WHY it's been so long, I'll probably make a post about it in Gen Chat or something sometime soon. For the 100% of you who actually don't care, I watched last week's ep and liked it very much.

 

It had Luna and Sweetie Belle and good morals and was overall boss.

Saw today's episode, it was pretty good. I liked the effects (like the rewinding), the rap, although not my style of music, was good, I guess. Opal and Angel as Luna/Celestia was funny. I felt bad for Rainbow Dash, when I was in school, there were people like her, who felt like they were stupid 'cause they couldn't study/hated studying. Lesson was also pretty good.

I saw the episode about 11 hours ago and still remember it almost perfectly. The premise was actually incredibly good, as it helps people think of study habbits that suit them.

 

Animation-wise: THAT FUCKING SHADOW EFFECT THOUGH! I audibly came when that happened

 

Humor-wise: The Pinkie rap had me crying. Like, the hardest I've ever laughed at the show. That really cheesy 90s urban beats rap just hits me so well, especially since I saw the old MS-DOS rap about a week ago.

 

All the content was true to the characters. Fluttershy got betwixt the argumet Lik a baws and then wrote a Tony winning play to boot. Technical difficulties on set caused by an inept cast caused its flopping in Ponyville, but it grossed 2 Million bits in Manehatten.

 

I also like how Applejack came off as a complete hick. She knows what she does better than anybody, but not much more. A mix of work dedication and southern ignorance, I guess.

 

What else? God, it was just so good. Rainbow Dash's awareness stat is insanely high, for one. The characters being inteoduced gradually as the episode went on was new and I really enjoyed it. Mixing things up in that sense was really cool.
