About the song...remember that this is still a kid's show. Sometimes they can afford to put in a less meaningful song.

 

Just because they can doesn't mean they should. I mean when I heard the song, I thought it was a "learn how to count" song, which you play for toddlers, not 9 year olds.

It's not a "learn how to count" song. It's just a simple, easy-to-remember song with a catchy rhythm. Which is good for...9 year olds who like to sing it. Which also happens to be the target audience. Believe it or not, the show is not intentionally pampered towards adult men.

I liked the episode, the song itself did nothing for me. I guess they were trying to mimic a more folk sound but they kinda fell short of that imo.

For some reason, I really laughed at that too. It was all in the delivery, Ashliegh Ball gets the point for that one.Though my favorite line was probably "And I'll wear this mustache!"

While I applaud them for trying out cell shaded 3D graphics with the wolves, it just didn't work.

The pony who owned the balloon's expression when she was pulling it back from AJ's was priceless.

Nice to see an episode where the Mane Six aren't one big chunk or singled out as the main of an episode.

RD and FS's hoofbump was awesome, as was Spike figuring out how to do one.

The way the giant timberwolf held out his hand while he was choking, as if to say "gimme a minute" literally made me laugh out loud.
