That's bad how?

Because the "episodes" are repetitive, it's the same thing with a slightly different setting and new characters that've been added with no previous introduction or notice.

I wouldn't mind it if they weren't just shoehorned in.

If that's how you feel so be it, but I don't see it that way.

The problem isn't that it's a long fic, but how there isn't really any progression. It's a million words long, yet it doesn't feel like there's been any real progress with the whole 'Project Horizons' thing since we found out about it. The overall goal is there, and yes they are working towards it, but at this point almost every chapter is a sidetrack. Project Horizons is one of the greatest stories I've ever read, and the characters are amazing, but I only encounter the main plot every other chapter at best. I don't think we've had a single chapter devoted directly to their overall mission since Sanguine's last appearance (Maybe 52 is different, I haven't read it yet).

Funny, that's kind of how an actual Fallout game plays out if you think about it. 95% sidequests until you manage to stumble onto the final story mission. Doesn't seem to translate into a story as well as it does a game though, unfortunately.

What time is it? TIME FOR DERAILMENT! Yeah!

I like that in the elder scrolls games because there's places to see, and NOT EVERY AREA LOOKS THE SAME! *ahem*

About the new episode

it was ok, I don't like the cmc that much to begin with, ant the plot of this epicode is so unoriginal that I can tell you what happens thought the hole episode after seeing the first 5 min.

Also am I the only one that thinks bab is a lot like that one Tom boy girl from the charley brown cartoons?

I actually enjoyed the episode mostly because I could relate to it from when I was younger. anything to avoid the bullies...

I'm also thoroughly convinced the song montage was an attempt to 1-up the PMV artists. :P It was actually pretty catchy.

i see your point with the bullies and I can see why others would connect more to this episode because of that, but I know more than most about bullies and I'm bolth mentally and physically scared by them, and I don't want to be reminded at all about that. So I guess I'm predisposed to not like this episode.

Same with me. I still remember clear as day my second grade class as I sat in the middle, crying while everyone, even those I called friends, laughed and made fun of me as the teacher turned a complete blind eye to it. This is just 1 of many many incidents.

That did affect me for the longest of times, but I guess I've finally gotten over it. I did feel like reaching into my screen and slapping the crap out of babs for that though. Even I never went that far to fit in.

No, but seriously. Babs sounds like Christopher Walken, right?

About the episode though... I think this was my favorite episode so far. It had a really solid song, including that A-team Montage. I, unlike some other people, really like CMC episodes. But... Uh, let's not start throwing around... Preferences.

They call me Snake. They call me Es Rake. They call me Srahkay. That's nahmaname. That's nahmaname. That's not my... name.

Yeah, when I saw the A-Team thing, I thought that was awesome. Did anybody notice how Pinkie's appearance was so randomly stupid that it was hardly even funny?

Also, the whole bully thing kind of relates to me, except I did the real-world thing rather than the equestria thing with the two bullIes I had. Once the guy started getting physical, I popped him in the mouth. I still remember my 7th grade teacher telling the principlr that the kid's broken jaw was from him falling down on a fire extinguisher box. That's the thing. The show is obviously not going to support violence, but all the safe-freak parents fail to realize that getting violent once saves a whole lot of trouble in the future. After I fought the guy back, there was no further problem from him.

Also, I've noticed that Applebloom's and Babs' accents sounded quite forced this episode.

Really? Sounded fine to me. Only thing I noticed about Applebloom was how goshdarn cute she was in this episode, probably the best I've seen of her. (Say what you will, Shiny)

^I will agree with that, though. Maybe by the fourth season (assuming there will be one) the CMC will start to get older and get their cutie marks and then everything will be right with the world with sunshine and butterflies and rainbows.

So I've made my self an OC, don't worry he is not a perv and is a nice guy really, his name is aroma sweets. His special talent is making tea. He dose not k ow what his cuty mark looks like any more because when he was a colt the same day he got his mark there was a fire. He was very badly burned and he was the only survivor of his family. To be kind he is always covered head to hoof with only one eye exposed (his left). What we dresses in looks like the pony version of this

but less complex and made of cloth.

After the fire he was razed by his uncle, and he did not have that manny friends. Aroma moved to ponyville acted his uncle died and is now running a tea shop.

He has a very expressive and overall nice voce, and the one eye you can see can convey a lot of emotion. He is single and has resigned himself to living the rest of his life that way, but if he could have someone special he would pick zacora because she is wise enuff to look past the scars and because he thinks zebras are hot.

What do you all think, dose he suck, is he ok, or what?

I'm not a fan of OCs with a tragic background. I feel like it is over done and it is kind of used as a crutch to make a character interesting. But at least he isn't some sort of mad at the world, silent badass. He doesn't seem to have a character flaw, besides his physical flaws. But unless your going to start writing some sort of 1 million word novel about your character, I don't think it really matters.

But that's just me... I mean, hey, I think that changelings can't be special.

[C+] Could be better...

I dunno... Whatever

Well in his timeline his story is already told, his story would have been when he was living with his uncle in mainhatin, you see after the fire aroma was scared mentally just as much as he was physically. He was terrified of fire of any kind, was still in shock over the loss of his family, he had yet to begin dealing with what he now looked like, and celestea knows what else. So his story is one of recovery and over coming loss and debilitations.

His uncle was a good man if a bit eccentric, it was him who helped aroma find peace. So after his uncle died and because his uncle had no kids of his own all the inheritance went to aroma, and with some of it he bought the tea shop that he now runs and lives above.

Oh I also forgot to add that he is a Pegasus but he can't fly because he's wings were almost completely burnt off and what is left is fused to his sides. He can still walk on clouds and often uses clouds as a secret part of his drinks. (If you ask him for something "light" he will just add cloud to make it so.)

I may add more and expound on him later for fun but that's it for now.

I mean, my OC's background wasn't entirely tragic... his family was the mafia and he was disowned when he refused to pull a hit on some dude. Then he ran away to Ponyville. I mean, that's not THAT bad. He attended the most prestigious flight school in Fillydelphia and was top of his class. Yeah, that's not tragic. I'm fine.

Anyways, I'm starting to realize how low I am on the saxophone totem poll. There are some people whose squeaks and squawks make me look like a noob. I need to improve my skills dramatically, dammit. I actually plan to join the Delaware Army Guard Band (run by my elementary school music teacher) to help pay for college as well as develop my skills. So yea, that's a thing. Also, with my new computer coming, expect better quality stuff from my channel.

She was acceptable. She was still horrible in that her first thought ebout her cousin was to force her to join a club she obviously didn't want to join that ended up getting her even more ridiculed, and her idea to initially ignore the problem and hope it goes away on its own only to change her mind to a violent solution that she is horribley misinformed in to the point of making someone with no friends feel even worse. She still has yet to have an unselfish thought, and still puts way too much emphasis on what others think, but she had some good lines and some good jokes, even if her best was just the word "Seriously?"

As for the rest of the episode:

I loved the A-team reference, mostly because it was a very, very obvious reference that wasn't as debatable as most of their "references." I also like how we got to see Sweetie Belle do magic for a split second. Babs' accent was too hard to nail down. The song was nice and completely unexpected, and I especially liked the movie scene, it gave me chills. I noticed Sweetie's Dad right away, it's nice to see where she lives. Pig Diamond Tiara was awesome and made me lol. Scootaloo is now a thesaurus with her two dictionaries. The 3d animation all over was cool. I should have waited to make the Powerpuff Girls thing, that last shot with the capes was perfect.

I liked the moral of the story because it was a real moral, one you don't see very often but is very important and very common: bullies are usually the bullied.

Oh, and anyone who watches Dr. Who will get why thisis funny.
