And I have been getting conflicting information on what an OC is. Here are the three possible definitions:

 

1. Any pony that you came up with.

2. A pony character from a fan-ficition.

3. A pony you role play as.

4. A pony version of you.

 

I personally consider definition one an OC, since it literally stands for "original character." The fourth definition I always just called/heard them called "ponysonas," which is a phrase I like that's also a lot clearer.

I was just about to post that. Holy fucking shitballs it's good. I've seen that guy animate before, but this is like a 3 minute long bit with costume changes and multiple characters and everything.

Holy fuck. Great find, first of all. At the beginning I noticed maybe 1 or 2 rough spots with the animation, but after that it was and remained identical to show quality. That was awesome I must say.

...I just realized i didn't understand what he meant by "OC", i thought he meant what Jek's been drawing. my bad.

 

OC - Your own character, made by you. It can be a character for a story, fanfic, game, fandom (like ponies) et cetera. It can be based on you, your look, personality but that would be called a persona (or ponysona if it's a pony)

It's Better when your OC is totally diffferent than you and other characters. Give him original look, colours and a personality that havn't appeard in the show and among other OC creators.

 

However, If you dont have any decent idea for being creative - create a pony for fun. You don't have to be like Chriss Avellone at the begining.

 

And yes ppl, I expect 1 ref (refined metal in TF2) for a drawing. If you don't have it atm, i can wait, but I note everything.
