Why do people like MLP:FIM so much, anyway? I've never watched it but I have read about it. It sounds terribly cliche (FRIENDSHIP IS SO KOO, GAIZ!), and from what I've read, it's very... "cutesy" as a lot of people put it. I can't see why any male over the age of 4 or 5 would enjoy that.. not saying you have to watch movies like Rambo all the time, but it seems strange that a fully grown male would enjoy something like that. Apparently, the humor also fails.

You have absolutely no right to criticize the show whatsoever until you've watched a minimum of 3 to 4 episodes completely if this is the case.

I love you, yet can't stand to know you exist.

We like it because we like it. :x

Yes, it's cutesy. I sat through 2 seasons of K-on so that's no big deal for me. And as for the humor failing, opinions. Everyone enforces their opinions as facts.

Stop criticizing a show you haven't watched! You keep crying about how it's "painful" to watch it, and then call us un-manly. Either watch the first three episodes, (I would suggest the pilot actually) or silence your keyboard!

Here's a little piece of advice, NEVER. WATCH. THE. OLDER. GENERATIONS. The interest is not in the franchise per se, it's just the current generation show (which is AWESOME)

I keep forgetting to actually submit my posts before I go out, but I think this should still be rectified.

I am SO F**KING SICK OF PEOPLE MISSPELLING FREEMAN'S NAME!

Also, your grammar is horrible.

How old are you? 8?

For the record, Alphabetagamma is 16 in body and 6 in mind.

I was going to point out how that describes Username more, but I remembered that he is more of a troll.

What the heck does that mean?

If you're 120 at physical heart, that means you have the cardiovascular strength of a decrepit decagenarian. If you're 120 at emotional heart, the fact that you argue with such vehemence over anything fictional is rather odd (unless you'd like to contend Equestria is a real place, which is a different argument entirely), if you're 120 spiritually, that's laughable because there are people I know going through their midlife crises that are about 30 that have more personal warmness than you come off as.

What, that he's at least halfway intelligent?

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

Who cares about grammar on the Internet!

Everyone who's intelligent. Grammar should be even more important since you're typing something out for other people to read and judge you upon. And that isn't why you misspelled Gordon's name, you spelled it like that because you didn't know how to spell it properly, so it's ignorance, not laziness.

He didn't capitalize it, that's why I said it was bad grammar.

Also,

Who cares about grammar on the Internet!

This needs a question mark.

Watching the show and becoming an informed commenter has done less for my sanity than ignoring it would have been. It's an unlikable trade-off.

Whatsoever? I think what I've read about it at the very least partially tells me about MLP. Sure, it may be wrong/misleading in some parts, but I know about the utmost basics of the show. It sounds cliche and childish to me, but I think it's because I'm one of those broody, whiney, pessimistic types.

Stop criticizing a show you haven't watched! You keep crying about how it's "painful" to watch it, and then call us un-manly. Either watch the first three episodes, (I would suggest the pilot actually) or silence your keyboard!

For the most part, I'm joking when I say it's "painful" to watch. You really think blood starts coming out of my eyes whenever I watch one of the many MLP videos you link me? I also don't consider Bronies "unmanly." I find it strange how they enjoy this sort of show, one with (from what I've heard) a bad attempt at humor and a "cutesy" vibe to it. I strongly dislike both of those.

Well if you're confused as to why we like it, why not actually watch the fucking show to get an idea? Also no, just reading about it doesn't give you a right to criticize it. This is a T.V. show. It'd be like calling a game bad because you've watched a few of its trailers that show very little actual gameplay. You haven't actually experienced it, so you can't make any real decisions regarding its quality.

I love you, yet can't stand to know you exist.

I watched part of an episode Username linked me. None of it made any sense whatsoever. I also had no urge to continue watching it...
