Just watched it, I completely agree.

 

 

It's always nice to see a minor character have a major part in the show like this. Plus the end was a textbook D'AAAAAW moment.

They do after every episode, especially the last 2 since they had major flashbacks.

 

I actually did not really like this episode. Applebloom is my least favorite character out of the mane 6 +CMCs, and shes already had like 3 episodes.

 

 

Not sure if I like the idea of zap apples, it just seemed a bit too random and out there. Same with "Timberwolves" (LOL GET IT THEY'RE TIMBER). And making Granny smith older than the town itself seemed like a far stretch to me. Then again, if Appaloosa was built in a year...

 

AND THERE WAS NO FRIENDSHIP REPORT. Not that I like friendship reports, its just an annoying inconsistency.

 

 

Oh, and I couldn't spot Derpy Hooves. Anyone got a pic?
