From someone with experience in this sort of thing. Don't dramatize it. One of the only things worse than being ignored is everyone hearing you and no one caring. People aren't going to care that you watch My Little Pony any more than they would if you said you watched Care Bears. They aren't going to ask why, they're going to assume your reasons for watching have to do with your sexual orientation or someone dropping you when you were born. That's not to say you should deny it or never tell anyone if you were having a legitimate discussion with them, preferably related to TV shows/MLP. But don't go around like the town crier expecting people to react like you told them who really killed JFK.

So have you guise seen this?

I'm gonna be writing a paper on MLP and its Effects upon the Internet later in the year for my English class. I'll be sure to hit up this video again for reference. It should give Mr. Michaelec a good laugh.(He is such a bad ass)

mind giving me a copy of that paper? i'm doing an oral presentation next year for IB bout the phenomenon of male adults watching MLP, and i need sources.

this is for real, i'm bloody doing it, teachers approve the idea as long as i stay in between the 2 sides, and not bias the presentation. i'll first write down the speech, and if it's biased, that's when blue comes in.

I feel like I've done a good part of spreading the joy of ponies to others. I've converted two cousins, my sister (somewhat), and I'm whittling away at my friend at school. He didn't like the show itself, so I started him out on Fanmade content, the first one being "Friendship is Magic, Bitch," as even non-bronies find it hilarious. This caught his attention and now I've got him watching "Friendship is Witchcraft," which I think will go over well. Can't wait until the day he comes to me and says "You know what, Zach? I like this show. You were right. It's pretty decent when you give it a shot."

My older brother has taken kindly to the show however I severely doubt he watches it unless he watches it with me. Beyond that no one I know knows about my interest, and more likely, wouldn't care. Least of all my other brother or my parents, seeing as they rightly assume I watched "weird artsy stuff" when I went to animation school.

When my sister caught me one day she had that spiteful indignation that most sisters would have when they find their older brother watching something overtly masculine, but I think her reaction is countered by the fact that she watches weirder things when no one else is around and probably wouldn't want to be called out on that if she complained about the things I watch.

My Dad only found out because my sister is the most untrustworthy person I know.

I don't really think anyone cares anyways, so I don't really tell anyone. I don't keep it secret, if someone asks I answer. I just don't go around shouting it and telling it to everyone I meet, to me its just as bad as Girl Gamers who mention it('it' being them being Girl Gamers, not MLP) every chance they get.

My friend and I were playing Pony mod for Minecraft a few days ago and I told him I watch it, he laughed and thought it is really weird and he still does. I'm ok with it though, its not for everyone and my friend doesn't treat me any differently than before, probably because I am a pretty weird person to begin with.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

@Rarity

So I heard you're dumping us for some of your preppy capitol friends. Why are you always such a worthless douche? :P

In 1 weeks time I give my presentation on ponies. Just about everyone I know and in that class knows I'm a brony so it won't be as awkward. This should be fun.

So I'm subscribed to Blue so I can see all of his latest comments he makes on videos... He watches far too many pony videos.

I somehow got a friend of mine into the show when we were on some website (I think it was Know Your Meme) and we kept seeing Friendship is Magic related stuff and I told him how it's very popular at the moment and for good reasons. At some point he then decided that he wanted to watch episode 1, so we did and then he wanted to see episode 2 and then 3.

Now that I think about it, nobody seems to mind me liking this show. Well, there was this one guy in my course who I don't really talk to who said "you bloody Bronies get everywhere" and the next day he wants to know where I got my Rainbow Dash shirt... the people in my course are weird man.

Rarity: "Why, she's... the one that always dresses in style, of course."

Am I the only one who finds it odd that they saved the world twice and no one still knows who they are.

I said the same thing and someone replied to me.

"You have to save the world three times to be recognized."
