I don't even know what career I'm going into in the near future, after having finished graduating form both High School and a Technical Institute. (Not due to lack of agency or opportunity, simply consideration. Complex issue...)

If I got my cutie mark at a young age that would designate my role in life, or at least what is or should be most relevant to my interests, that might be pretty dooming. Prime examples: Silver Spoon, Snails.

Pitching those logistics out the window with narry a farewell or tip of the hat, I'd say in the name of Fun, my Cutie Mark would be a pencil. I love to sketch, and pen/paper are the best ways of conveying my ideas into the physical, or at least the fastest. Either by diagram or writing, seeing as in Equestria there aren't any computers per se. (Given the choice between writing and typing, I'll take the faster one any day.)

To be honest, if everyone had a different cutie mark in a world with over 7 billion people, I think most cutie marks would be more like birthmarks than clear objects. In the magical land of Equstria, however, I think my cutie mark would be something along the lines of a puzzle piece with an atom. My love of physics and my asperger's.

Symbolizing my speed and flying abilities, as well as my sense of justice and ferocity towards those who do bad to others.

I don't know about the legitimacy of the rumors, but it looks like they're saying that season 3 is the last they're doing and will only have 13 episodes.

Good. The "short-lived but spectacularly bright" star is all the more amazing due to its brevity as far as I'm concerned. But I hope that the last episode will be about how Spike is actually going to grow up into a dragon and will have to leave due to being a dragon (or something).

Firstly, it's a rumor. Secondly, better this than dragging it out over 10 seasons throwing any remaining quality out the window.

Oh come on, if Hasbro is going to continue getting money out of it the series will continue, whether it will be good or not is another matter entirely.

 

It's probably going to go to season 3 and then there'll be a movie or something along those lines. Followed by another series with characters introduced from the movie. They've already done it about 7 times now so don't be too suprised when it happens.

No. The text message specifically said Lauren quit. That means this whole thing is going to SHIT! That's what upsets me! If she stayed, they would have been able to keep quality AT LEAST until Season 5. Now we probably don't even get a full Season 3 and it becomes one of those shows where the fanbase doesn't know what to do, dies out, and is quickly forgotten.

I can't read it here, but I know Lauren was already doing much less than she was originally. Her quitting though is an different story. I'm already pretty dissapointed about season 2 so far; a season 3 completely without Lauren Faust would be a sad state of affairs.

Um... She already resigned from Executive Producer before season 2. All she was, was a Consulting Producer for season 2 so that means she had no creative control over it. If you like S2 then you like Faust-less MLP.

Calm down, this is exactly the same thing as with Valve or id. Lauren Faust/Gabe Newel/Carmack don't make games/cartoons by themselves they are not necessarily what makes MLP/DOOM/HL so amazing. Assuming everything will suck from here on out because Lauren left is just stupid. And honestly, so far, I enjoyed Season 2.
