Welp, just watched it. Bit later than usual, but I finally got a chance.

Good episode and all, but Applejack seemed kind of out of character. I mean, usually she's a pretty level-headed pony. Skeptical without being cynical, and trusting without being naive. This episode really seemed to ignore those traits, which kinda irked me.

 

It did work out in the end, though. Basically, as long as Applebloom doesn't leave the safety of the heavily guarded towns and enter the uncharted death wilderness that apparently is Equestria, she's golden, and Applejack doesn't have to put bubblewrap on everything. Status quo ftw.

Applejack isn't really all that out of character, if one remembers all the other episodes that involve her dealing with her responsibility in her family. Seriously, the bits of Bridle Gossip with her and Bloom, Applebuck Season, that family reunion episode, all of those had to do with her and her responsibilities with her family and in all of them the logical side of her brain just kind of shut off.

 

Is that escalated in this episode? Sure! Is it completely out of nowhere? God no.

I think I know where this is headed. I like how Winona was chasing Tank. Gummy strikes again! Maud reminds me of Arnie but less creepy. Ah, a pet rock, something the older generation will understand. Yeah, she's very much like Arnie. Poor Pinkie Pie. The speed, the how, wait, what? Alright, overall, a good episode.

Just watched it. I liked it quite a bit. Made me laugh pretty hard a few times (like the nuclear rock throw). I laughed like a damn hyena when Maud said "He was hiding in my pocket."
