Not my best work, but not my worst, the only thing I don't like, is the eyes, but there's nothing I could of done to make them better, but what do you guys think? Should I change it to my avatar? Should I make it better? If so, how?

 

I say it's pretty good. like a 7/10. and if you want it as your avatar, then by all means, use it.

Indeed, you should practice more on the anatomy. It's not bad after all, learn how to draw pony eyes, and it will be ok.

Also her leg should bend at the halfway point, but yours seems to bend at the tip, more like a wrist than an elbow. The ears are done differently, concave instead of convex like the show, but somehow it works. Cleaning up the line work and getting rid of the background blurry blue residue should be all else you need before making it your avvatar, though.

 

Pointing out flaws. Gotta love it.

Yeah, the blurry blue residue is a result of me working with soft pastels, and it getting all over my right arm.

I know, the same thing happens when I do stuff with pencils. I just didn't know if it had any actual name, and didn't feel like writing out the full explanation.

Vectored, then touched up in photoshop to blend the gradients better. I myself am shocked at how well it turned out, but JJR's is still better I think.

 

Maybe if I do it to his OC I can get my refined back...

I just realized the accusations 4 pages back. I actually didn't show him anything. All I did was tell someone else they weren't the only one with grimdark knowledge in the fandom. So if you wanna blame someone for him leaving, don't blame me cuz I didn't do anything.
