I'm pretty sure that I am the most famous brony on this forum, considering I've got 4 FanFictions with a collective of 12,000 views on FimFiction and 15,000 views on FanFiction.

 

...Oh wait, that doesn't mean shit. Famous people don't care about my work. Time to go mope.

 

I'll make it eventually though. I'll be doing video game commentaries once I actually get a rig up. I'll be doing Sax renditions of the songs once I can get my Tablet back and upload shit. (BTW, does anybody know how to loop videos when you upload them?)

Rarity, please don't get involved in mine and Chuck's feud, especially since you're comparing art to videos. And that the bulk of that art is just tracing stuff from the show (oh yeah, I went there). Thought the tumblr thing is impressive. Maybe I should start using mine.

 

BTW, does anybody know how to loop videos when you upload them?

In the Youtube video editor put a pause after the movie is over, then make the pause as long as you want the time inbetween looping to be.

 

Oh, and guys, this is the song for the next (simple) PMV I'm working on. I picked it because it's easy, a breather from my effects-heavy PMVs. Then after that I think I'll do Little Lion Man. It's got a lot of soul, and I'm only going to do it if I know I can put my full effort into it. It deserves it.

That's why I said "the bulk of that art." And I use vectors from the vector club on occasion, even just for reference. Though you would not believe how hard it was to find any vector of any pony in mid-stride.

So... to interrupt this little fame feud we have going on, here's the first chapter of the fic that is destined to be garbage:

Honestly, this isn't the kind of fic I would read or maybe even enjoy. I never had the urge to read My Little Dashie, and never liked throwing in humans. Also the second paragraph was uncomfortable to read.

 

However, I consider myself objective enough that I can offer feedback on things I don't like other than "I don't like it."

 

 

Good writing style, wish I could see how well you do dialogue (and no, that doesn't mean point me to another fic of yours).

 

We get very little personality out of the main character. We know what happens to him and what he's forced to do, but not how he is responding to it, other than the little bits of characterization in the narration.

 

You're riding the fine line in that your narrator is so bored by the standard routine yet you need him to describe in detail this boring routine that he really doesn't care about.

 

There's a difference between making a character so pathetic the audience roots for him to stop being pathetic and one that they just give up on because he's so sad they don't want to get more sad by reading more about him.

 

That is a very short chapter one. That could just be me, though, seeing as how my fic is 18,000 words strong at 2 chapters.

 

In general, it's hard to say much by this point. There's just not a lot to go on. Also, nothing's really happened yet.

 

 

 

Oh, and about google docs: click the big blue button that says "share," then click change and select "anyone with the link" and then say "can comment." Something like that, at least.
