Seriously though, it's the great writing and storytelling, the excellent voice acting, the fact that it can be incredibly funny, and the diverse cast of characters that bring so much life into the show.

I liked this episode. The only problem I had with it was the very cliche teenagers. Other than that, I really liked it. The whole "finding out who I am" thing may have sounded cheesy, but its something a lot of people can really get behind, and it makes sense for Spike. He really doesn't know what its like to be a dragon.

If you haven't noticed, that sort of prototypical character portrayal is sort of the point in all these kiddie shows to teach aesops.
