Alright, Fluttershy. (And Bill). Here's my small epistle:

 

There you are. About to walk up to the podium. You clench and unclench your slightly sweaty fists as you run over your speech for the umpteenth time in your head; desperately hoping everything will go as planned.

 

So it was for every controversial speech in history. Imagine, what it would have been like for other men who made such speeches? Martin Luther King, John F Kennedy, Richard Nixon, Malcom X. But they all pulled through, and changed the world in different ways. Your speech might not be quite as important to the world as these others. It's just you talking to your classmates. But one thing that those great men had was loyal friends to support them.

 

It's just the same for you, Zach.

 

The Brony community fully supports you and your ambition to tell the world about your passion. Remember that. No matter what the response from the school community, you always have good people cheering you on at every sentence, supporting you all the way.

 

So do this for your friends. Do this for the world. Do it so you can look back one day and be proud of what you did. Even if all your school friends disown you and joke behind your back because of a simple TV show, don't let it get to you. Tell them that you are the only one confident enough in your sexuality to be able to watch a "little girl's show".

 

And whatever happens, know that you have true admirers. You have not met us in person, but you can still lean on us for support at any time.

 

So get up there and make a man of yourself, Zach.
