I signed the position to save her. It's just unbelievable that people are so hellbent on reversing this.

I think I'm gonna join Coffeegrunt in calling these guys the Political Correctness Gestapo. It seems like if something even has a mildly controversial aspect to it, IT MUST BE CHANGED BECAUSE A MINORITY IS INSULTED AND VERY LOUD.

@brave: I watched a few of those. These video's are getting abused too much now. Though I did get real giddy when I saw a twilight sparkle one using my vectors. :P

Heh. Protect the Derp.

On another note, I just read My Little Dashie... I was disappointed, I was told i was going to cry, but did not. Other than that, great, beautifully written piece.

I've actually been reading Fallout: Equestria. You have to suspend an appropriate amount of disbelief to work in all the Fallout stuff (ponies with actual guns, pony robots, pony nukes, etc.). It is amazingly well written. I especially like how the author is very slowly releasing information about the universe, instead of telling everything and letting it play out. Also every so often there are little mythology gags or cleverness (Talon company? They're Griffons).

Can't decide how much I like the fact that just about every character and place with a name is shoe-horned in, if effectively, realistically, and believably. Seriously, I'm a quarter the way through and so far its mentioned: (spoilered, even though I'm just saying their names)

The mane 6, the CMCs, big mac, silver spoon, diamond tiara, Derpy, the Oranges, Braeborn, DJ Pon-3, Vinyl Scratch, and Derpy. The character has been to Sweet Apple Acres, the library, Rarity's boutique, Pinkie's farm, Manehattan, and Appleoosa.

Ah yes, Fallout: Equestria. One of the best things I've ever read, and every bit as good as any published novel in my opinion, if not better. I have to admit though, most of the chapters suffer from the tl;dr curse, as reading them can be quite a daunting prospect. I'd rather have them broken up, so it doesn't take an hour to read each one (If I'm in a hurry or something). I finished it a while ago though, so I'm currently tracking Fallout: Equestria Project Horizons, a sidestory that I actually like even better (the writing quality is more or less the same, but the main character is WAY cooler), although be warned that it's a lot darker than the original FoE. Currently it looks like it's going to be even longer than Kkat's fic, but despite the equally long chapters the author manages to pump them out on a weekly basis.

If there's one thing I regret though, it's that I started reading FoE before I watched the actual show. Oh how ignorant I was of all the flashbacks, locations, and show references...

You mentioned Derpy twice.

And Vinyl Scratch, as she and DJ PON-3 are pretty much the same character.

I could pretend like I purposely put Derpy there twice, but no, that was an Ernest mistake. And no, DJ Pon-3 is not Vinyl Scratch, at least not in that universe.

And something else I like about FoE: its written like a game. People offer her quests, she has a party (as in group) with a tank and a white mage, she levels up after each chapter, she keeps track of equipment, after quests she is given a choice of a reward, she finds a bunch of journals and skips past a bunch of them, she has an ideal build she's working towards. It really is the fallout world.

And best yet, the main character ha character. Stuff that you did in the game just because it was a game (death contracts, looting, lockpicking) is actually considered and thought over. In other words, some of the best parts about Fallout: Equestria is just because its a Fallout narrative.

Damn my wall of text tendency in this thread. I just love ponies to god damned much.

So it looks like we're coming out of this dark chapter. Derpy's name is back on Welovefine.

Baby steps, folks. Baby steps.

They call me Snake. They call me Es Rake. They call me Srahkay. That's nahmaname. That's nahmaname. That's not my... name.

Good episode. I liked that it was an adventure episode. Few comments:

1. There was a moment when Daring Doo said "ugh" but her mouth was synced to some other line.

2. I'm sure the screw loose pony barking like a dog won't help the whole Derpy situation.

3. Daring Doo: any relation to Ditzy Doo, who is not Derpy but still canon?

4. I want a gif of Rainbow Dash snoring.

5. I am scared about a freeze frame of RD reaching under her covers for her book that could be exploited.

6. How the hell do you spell the villains name? I want to know if he actually exists.

7. I wish we could have seen the cutie mark of RD's neighbor, though the coloring means it could be Berry Punch who had a little too much cider last episode.

8. Was there a pony who had cancer? He had no mane, and it was either that or he was a war vet. Either way, I applaud the show creators for that.

9. RD's ninja outfit looked lame at first, but then I realized it was a hoody (the same color as my MLP hoody!) I thought it was awesome.

10. Villain guy speaking in Pinkie's voice totally caught me off guard.
