I still have to watch the newest episode, cause I have to wait til it's on Youtube, cause it'll be an interesting day if my parents found out.

What Pinkie said, though it really depends on the parents. But if they truly love you, they won't care anyway.

 

At least not until you start buying merch. My dad watches the show with me, but I'm still not confident enough to ask him for a ride to Walmart for a blind-bag.

I was open with my family about ponies and though there was some laughter and my mom thought i was joking and my dad thought it was a cult where you watch the show while doing drugs... On second thought, it's up to you whether or not you tell them.

Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time

It wasn't as bad as I thought it was gonna be...

 

IT WAS FUCKING WORSE THAN I THOUGHT IT WAS GONNA BE!!

It's a good thing I have a strong stomach when it comes to blood and gore because every other part of my body was screaming in agony.

 

THOUGH on the other hand, Ask Pinkamena Diane Pie is based on the Cupcakes universe and I have a secret love for that ask tumblr, even if it does also contain gore. At least the psychological element is more prominent. Like for example, Pinkamena's hair is always straight because she's always depressed or something like that.

I don't think it was that bad. The animation was funny, so that and the gore kind of cancels out.

Ugh, I call bullshit on the twins being able to use their abilities already. I was just sitting here thinking "HOLY SHIT THEY ARE GOING TO BE THE NEXT LEADERS OF EQUESTRIA!"

 

 

Incidentally, am I the only one who actually wants to see the extent of what Celestia and Luna can do? All we know so far is that they raise and lower the sun and moon. What else can they do?

 

Cupcakes eh? Heh, my friend and I have turned that into a game. We pick a spot and stand there while reading it out loud on one of our phones. It's hilarious when people show up, hear a few lines and are like "WTF".

 

Best one by far was when someone walked up while my friend was reading the part where RD was getting electrocuted. He thought it was porn, and promptly got the hell out of there.

It would be interesting to see the extent of their abilities. But everytime something REALLY bad happens, Celestia's just like, "Meh, fuckin' Twilight and dumbshits can handle it."

I'd like to see their abilities, too, but I doubt it'll happen. Like Pinkie said, she just lets Twilight do everything. We do know that they control the sun and moon, which used to take a third of the world's population to do. I don't really even know what abilities they would have the opportunity to show off, other than lifting really heavy things. Although Luna shape-shifted in Luna Eclipsed, so I suppose we could see some magic transforming or something...

 

What if the dragon in dragonshy was just Celestia in disguise? Same with the hydra. Or any other villain. We never see any of them in the same room together (unless you count glass discord).

That's just about as crazy as The Sniper being Cody's Father in The Rescuers Down Under (which ties the Team Fortress 2 into Disney animated Canon).

 

Which is to say it is entirely plausible.

I watched the original again actually and, god help me, I think I appreciate it more. At least animation-wise. Sure it's gruesome and a fate no one should have to go through but, I dunno, I kinda like it. Maybe I'm just messed up in the head I dunno.
