It was a pretty good episode, yes. Pinkie Pie hasn't had an episode since Party of One, which did not put her in the best light. I'm very happy they threw in some genetics for us, so now we CAN say that Derpy is Dinky's mother. Although I,too, was bothered that these kids are both extremely good at their racial abilities. I rationalized that pound was so small he didn't need much thrust to fly, and pumpkin is not actually in control of her magic, like Twilight when she got her cutie mark. The whole thing reminded me of the short from "The Incredibles", Jak Jak Attack. I also thought it was a bit out of character for Pinkie to outright refuse Twilight's help, considering how much Pinkie loves company, and that she's not the type to put her pride first.

 

And once again I didn't see Derpy Hooves, though I think there was a baby Dinky in the beginning.

Also, Ninja, you should just tell them. I told my family day 1 and they made fun of me (still do occasionally) but at least it's out in the open now and I can record it on TV without them wondering why it's there.
