Uncharted 3. The day I got it I played it for 9 straight hours and finally beat it at 4 am. The next day I played another 8 hours and beat it again. It's the most amazing gaming experience I've had in a loooooong looooong time. Once again I'd implore anyone with a ps3 to play it. They talk in the "behind the scenes" how in Uncharted 1, they wanted to make a third person shooter, then in Uncharted 2, they wanted to take the cinematic elements from the first game and base an entire sequel around them. Then in Uncharted 3 they ramped everything up and gave the formula some twists.

Seriously, things move so fast in this game. One minute you're sneaking through a cruise ship in storm, as the deck tilts under your feet with the waves. The next minute the boat is sinking, tilted 90 degrees, and you're climbing along the walls to get out. Next minute you've jumped out of the ship and are washed up on shore. It's awesome. That's not even the best part of the game, there are crazy action set pieces like that constantly, for 8 hours straight.

Not sure what you mean. It's certainly the same type of game, and it plays off the same paradigms. I'd say it's certainly more similar to Uncharted 2 than 1. The cinematic element has definitely been ramped up even more. I'd personally say it's a better game (and I loved U2)
