Tribes. So after not having played it for quite some time. Having fun, but still not happy that when loading a map it doesn't actually shows the map your gonna play. Also, are Low medium ect the only graphic options? If so I want proper options darnit. Other than that I'm having fun. I usually defend the main generator but I get paranoid as hell when I'm on my own and I think there is a infiltrator around every corner.

Video options has Vsync, resolutions and windowed/fullscreen mode options. Gameplay settings has FOV options, weapon size options etc.

 

For all other options be a PC gamer and

Still kind of a hassle to have to edit the config though. I see no reason not to simply put it into the menu. Especially when it does all the other stuff right(such as FOV and borderless options). And I know it tells me the map but I don't get why it would show a picture of a completely different map covering half the map, just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.

Editing the config file gives you more options, regardless of the game. I do think they should add AA options to the menu screen though. And that picture of the "map" is placeholder concept art.

They used to let you get specific with the graphics options until the big patch back in February. Before then, most anything in the config could be adjusted/toggled in-game. I recall them saying they'll re-expand around release, but the whole generator issue, call-in balance, as well as the inheritance debate in the community gives the impression that Hi-Rez are the "We know best, so shut the fuck up and deal with it" kind of guys. The kind of people where it takes an immense up-hill battle to get them to admit they're wrong on certain things (Which it did to get inheritance where it is now). So don't hold your breath.

 

Also, that's a cosmetic detail that isn't really high-priority. They'll probably address it in a patch on release.

Finally beat Bioshock. It was pretty good. The controls felt pretty clumsy at times, and I thought the Rescue/Harvest gimmick was pretty heavyhanded, but overall I enjoyed the experience.
