Most comfortable mouse?

Hey, my mouse is currently starting to die on me, I'm curious what mice people would recommend as the most comfortable. I want a wired one with at least 5 buttons. I have large hands and tend to have a "palm grip" style.

I have an Ace Edge 3200 Laser 3600D gaming mouse myself. Fits like a glove in the palm of my hand, has two extra buttons on the side for gaming (I use them for reload and flashlight in HL1 and HL2) and that's about it. It comes with weights too.

It's apparently a Swedish mouse and has 3 different LED colours (yes, it glows).

I have had a LogicTech mouse since 06 and it has served me well. To be honest I don't remember the exact model and the mouse I have is so worn from use that I can no longer read any of the markings or stickers. I do however know that the newer version of this mouse is more or less the same, here's a link to the user reviews page: http://reviews.logitech.com/7061/5743/logitech-corded-mouse-m500-reviews/reviews.htm

Based on a quick Google search it's priced anywhere from $29.00 - $40.00, I got mine for $30.00, I wouldn't pay any more than $35 though. It's tough comfortable and it works.

PS: You know what they say about big hands?

... Big gloves.

Just use logitech, all of the ones made after 2006 are good quality ;)

This one's mine:

Oh, yes, it's for laptop or netbooks.

I haven't even heard of this one, it looks like it could be comfortable though.

Best mouse I've ever used. 13 buttons, plenty of customization features, macro abilities that include mouse button presses and delay timers...
I'm sure it's a good mouse, but I was able to try one at a store display and didn't quite like the shape, it felt a little narrow in my hand. That and I'm looking for a corded mouse and not a wireless.

As for Logitech, this is the mouse I really want from them, except it's not real:

I almost never run it cordless... It is far better as a corded mouse than it is as a wireless.

Well, at least you got to try it. Far easier to tell whether you'll like something if you get too try it beforehand. :)

I would get it if it was real too...

I shall continue to advocate the Microsoft Intelimouse to anyone who will listen. It's great, it's comfortable, and it works (and appears for the most part to be quite indestructible).

IntelliMouse Explorer 3.0

It's an older gaming mouse with 5 buttons, but I would consider it the second best mouse I've ever used. (make sure to overclock the USB port you put it on to 1000Hz polling rate, you have the DL a 3rd-party program to do it though)

I use the cheaper two button version.

I think you'll find there's three buttons on that mouse. :P

I am currently using laptops/notebooks only and I must say that

using touchpads is actually quite comfy.

Before that I had some razer gaming mouse, don't know which.

It was a good one (or at least for me good enough), a generic

looking mouse but precise enough for my purpose and never got

tired or painful using it.

Used it for years, was the first mouse that lived longer then a year at

my place and I don't really treat my equipment well. Gave it to my sister

when I didn't need it anymore and it had a cable break within a month.

The default mouse that comes with Dell computers. Mine's worked amazingly for about 9-10 years.

After considering this for a second, I think mouse critics are kind of like food critics. What's the big deal about mice (food)? It moves the cursor across the screen (you eat it); that's really just about it.

I think an ergonomic keyboard is more important, personally.
