Banned because I am an expert on Tardises, and I can assure you that it doesn't work in such a way that you'd only lose text translation. You see, Tardises "get into your head" and translate for you, but the way they translate means it doesn't distinguish between sounds and text, there's no need. So, as far as your Tardis is concerned, you're hearing this. You should really consider upgrading that Type 40 by the way.
