When do you think freeman will use the grenade launcher?

I'm not sure if he's even picked up a grenade for the smg launcher yet, but when do you think he will use it for the first time?

i get the feeling ross would mod it so that if freeman tried to fire a grenade it'd get stuck in the lower barrel because iirc the grenades are larger than the barrel they come out of for the SMG. my guess is he'd panic in response to a horde of enemies - likely overwatch soldiers since those guys are heavily armored and pose a much more genuine threat than civil protection and zombies - and hit an unseen button on the gun (since the GL is integrated and there is no second trigger this is how i imagine someone would fire it)
