About the blackout, while you're right, I think your last priority is injecting yourself morphine if you are still under enemy fire, but if there where medics to heal people in CS that would be cool

plus that wouldnt add any realism since morphine needs ~20min to take effect.

It's the same thing with the adrenalin shots in Left 4 Dead 2. In a situation where you are running away from a horde of zombies your body is already filled with adrenalin, so another synthetic adrenalin shot would rather kill you

why not? Freeman could run out of bullets (or at least Ross could say that) so that he's forced to use it and he sees what a kick this thing has

Then he probably would use it more often (against bigger enemies)
