Making a Freeman's Mind 2 would be an awkward, and bad idea.

I have to agree with you there. Besides, I'd rather have FM end on a high note, rather than be dragged on to HL2.

Well, it's only a simple guess. For me, it seems like there are just certain shows/sitcoms/series that were great at first, but went on far too long that it should have.

 

A personal example for me: I thought the beginning two seasons of The Office(US) were great, but now, it's just gotten pathetically bad.

 

I'm not saying FM is bad, I think it's hilarious. I guess what I'm saying is, I'd rather remember it on that note .

 

But what you said is true as well, after all, nothing ventured nothing gained.

Sure, it's an option.

 

Ross said (I think he mentioned it; correct me if I'm wrong) that it'd be easier to do a FM in HL2 because there's a bit more story in there.

 

Plus, why would Ross throw away a fan favorite? Sure, I love CP, but that takes a long time for him to get it released. FM get's released about every 2-3 weeks. It's kinda better than waiting 2-3 months for CP.

Ross was originally going to start Freeman's Mind in Half Life 2, he just decided starting in the original would make more sense. I've said this before, I have no doubt Freeman's Mind is going to stay popular till the very end. I REALLY want to know how he'll react to Alyx and everything.
