What if Ross dies?

Hello, I was thinking about what if Ross dies - then what? No more accursed farms, no more game dungeons, this site will be closed. What do you think about it?

This doesn't really add much to the topic of Ross himself. It seems more like a reflection on death, which is among the oldest of philosophical topics.

 

One of the few remaining fully intact works from the Hellenistic period is a treatise from Epicurus called the 'Letter to Menoeceus', and in the third paragraph, he covers death. I am a little too out of it to use my own words, but I saw this thread and I thought it might be nice to share an excerpt.

 

"Foolish, therefore, is the person who says that he fears death, not because it will pain when it comes, but because it pains in the prospect. Whatever causes no annoyance when it is present, causes only a groundless pain in the expectation. Death, therefore, the most awful of evils, is nothing to us, seeing that, when we are, death is not come, and, when death is come, we are not."

I mean I guess the site will go on until its not paid for? anymore? How does that work? I can see some old forums I used to go to, and others are archived in bits.

  

Hopefully Game Dungeon spawned a few more spiritual successors. Hopefully, moreso, Ross left an impact on the gaming world with his campaign against GaaS and deadware.

Somebody crack Ross! This is my Halloween wish! Now, i don't actually expect anyone to do this, because i may as well be asking someone to learn aramaic...this is just me, hoping. I wanna see this guy live on after he shuts down. Because this guy is going to die. You know how i know this? Well, basically because of "...the accumulation of damage to an organism over time.".

A more important question (and this is for Ross) is what would Ross do if someone killed him?
