Well I arrived at my new destination, but I may move again as I'm going to need a place where I can be sufficiently loud to do recordings. One of the animators helping us is going to be quite busy too, so I'm afraid that means we're going to postpone the 20+ minute long episode again (yeah, I know).

 

The good news is that I'm going a little batty from not working on anything more creative, so I've decided to start a shorter Civil Protection episode that will be easier to animate. With everyone helping on it, it should be out sometime mid to late September. After that, I'm going to do everything in my power to finish the original episode I meant to release for Halloween 2007 I ended up postponing; except now it will be in time (hopefully) for Halloween 2008. This one is already partially completed, but there's still a lot to do on it. It will be at least 15 minutes and I hope will be the scariest episode of CP yet.

 

For everyone waiting on Freeman's Mind, it's still going to be kind of sparse until I finish the Noesis tutorial, then you can expect a big increase in its frequency. Thanks again for everybody's patience, we're going to be producing some good stuff over the next couple months.

As always, I'm looking forward to seeing more episodes, both of Freeman's Mind and of course Civil Protection. Sorry to hear there's another delay, but it sounds like you're getting things streamlined, so hopefully the gaps between episodes won't be quite so long anymore. Also, definitely looking forward to another Halloween special, especially if its 15 minutes or more.

anonymous dude 2: Yeah, christ, I know. It's all because of Noesis man. Between Galaxy Gulp and all the tutorial work, I'm sure I've lost over 1000 hours on it all and I'm STILL not finished. Not only does it consume a lot of my time, but it's turning into a real morale killer for me. We ran into a lot of bugs in Galaxy Gulp, people who were going to help me on it ended up pulling out and I had to fill in a bunch of roles. For the tutorials I have to plan the lesson, test it, record it, do a write-up, record the dialogue, edit the audio, edit the video, and add visuals, it just all adds up tremendously. Meanwhile everybody's pissed because I'm not releasing more videos. Don't get me wrong, they're good people at Noesis, but the whole experience basically makes me want to smash my head against a wall.

Cool, I recently watched ur Civil Protection movies, and I found them HILARIOUS. I. Am. Serious, they are awsome lol. I wasn't too keen on the Freeman's mind movies but I loved Galaxy Gulp. Good to see you are keeping up the work, 'cause its amazing dude.

Hey Ross, I've been a long time fan of yours, started watching CP then Freeman's Mind came along and I've missed the working downloadable link(its your fault not enough updates !).

And since I like to keep your videos I still havent been able to watch it. So could you fix the dl link please ?

Weissberv: Thanks man, if it makes any difference, I like CP more than FM too, but they take longer to produce. I still think the best episodes for the series are yet to come.

edward: Unfortunately my internet access is limited at the moment, so I probably won't be able to upload them right now. It's probably not what you want to hear, but once I get the new website up it should be much easier to get the higher quality copies of the videos.
