Close, but no. I poked and slapped you with my hand, but never touched you. It's a scientific fact, nobody ever touches anybody. I'm insterested to see who comes up with the correct answer first.

The vast majority of what we see is atoms and electrons that compared to each other are very far apart; matter is inherently very sparse and mostly space. Particles almost never actually come in contact with each other unless in situations of pressure, heat or nuclear force in terms of several orders of magnitude.

 

However, Lawful interpretation of physical contact in most countries does not restrict to the subatomic level unless in specific situations; randomly slapping someone to prove a point is not one of these situations.

 

This is why Physicists are out kicking particle's asses and not in courthouses for Domestic Violence alongside the Lawyers. Q.E.D.
