XP She probably gets the more innocent ones. I'd way more rather have an awkward boner than my period. Gosh. Of course, it doesn't work that way. X3 I get the worst pain... ever... And I'm working 5 hours tonight. @_@ With cramps. That make me feel like I have a 24/7 fever.

Exactly. An awkward boner is much easier to deal with. For one thing, more often than not you don't feel aroused, meaning the rest of your body isn't affected.

 

The menstrual cycle, on the other hand, can be brutal physically and mentally, and lasts way more than 5 minutes (no joke intended )

I've had sex with precisely one person - my first serious girlfriend. I figured I'd be in my 20s before my first time. But hey, 18 will do.

 

Three years later, and I've had a lot of time to rethink my approach to sex, and understand feminist ideology. As a result, I feel pretty bad whenever I catch myself 'looking' at a woman. I've managed to push my sex drive out of my conscious thought, so now it only occasionally bubbles up from my subconscious/impulses/carnal instincts. I've also vowed that the next time I have sex, it will be as a form of affection and love, not lust.

 

I have a close female friend who occasionally comes over and we spoon, but that's as far we go. We've talked about the possibility of doing more, but we both feel that it would mean a lot more than a night of frenzy, and we kind of need each other for emotional support right now. Making the beast with two backs would cause a lot of problems. In some people's eyes it may look like we're an item, but we're not. It's a strange thing, but it's kind of healthy for our heads.

 

 

I'd much rather cuddle/spoon someone than have sex with them. My crotch tries to protest, but I don't listen to it.

Not much harm in adding a bit of lust to love, if you ask me, but I certainly agree - sex without emotional connection, or when drunk - is a total waste of sex.

Somebody has exploited your emotional upset after a break up of a relationship and sent you off on a guilt trip, my friend. Not very ethical of them, I should say...

Not necessarily problems but it will definitely change things. Like in that song -

When people give a thought about what it will be like on the day after, as you two have done, they can make the right and informed decision. Whether then it's "yes" or "no" is equally moral and good as long as it's what works for both of them.
