Assuming the image isn't a hoax...it's a shame they don't have the equipment to search further, as I cannot think what it could really be. It definitely looks artificial.

 

Also, I've moved this to the Free For All section as this can hardly be classed as serious unless it's proven insanely true and an alien spacecraft is dug up in the middle of the ocean. I'm personally classing that outcome as 'unlikely' but you never know...

Well, the paranormal topic is for the serious discussion of paranormal phenomena. Remember that paranormal != ghosts. From Wikipedia: "Paranormal is a general term (coined ca. 1915–1920) that designates experiences that lie outside "the range of normal experience or scientific explanation" or that indicates phenomena understood to be outside of science's current ability to explain or measure."

 

Perhaps merging this into that thread could be a good compromise?

I found numerous news sources about this. I really think is a case of "wishful seeing", to give it a name, and it will turn out to be just a pile of rocks. It's exactly the same with, for instance, the famous face of mars: just a mountain that, under proper lighting conditions, viewing angle and photography, resembles a face.

Well, I've had one experience, and because of this, there isn't a thing you can say to make me believe that there aren't such things as ghosts.

 

During a wind storm in 1997, a rather large tree fell on my house. we had to be put up in a rental house for a few months while they made repairs. Thing is, a lot of weird things would happen in that house. Doors in the house would just kinda creak open with no one actually using them, My mom and I always got the feeling that we were being watched in that house, or that we were never alone in a room when no one else was around. Then there was the blackout. I remember this night very clearly.

 

The way the house was designed, the front door linked right into the living room. The door had a screen on the outside which we kept closed, and then the wooden door. During the blackout, we were sitting in the living room with a lantern(I still remember thinking to my self that the light on the ceiling kinda looked like an eye) when we heard a huge slam against the front door. One kinda like someone threw their whole body against it. The freakiest thing about that was that no one could have done that from the outside without damaging the screen door and causing the sound of metal to be in the slam, but if they did it from the inside, we all would have seen them there, but the screen door was undamaged, and there was no one outside for blocks.

 

I was so glad to leave that house.

I know they did an episode in Edinburgh, but not in the Castle. That thing with the camera was really weird.

Yeah, haunted houses are fun to visit and explore, not to live in. You really don't need to be constantly spooked,

 

Las weekend, I went away with my gf to a place about 600 km north. When we were in the middle of nowhere, we noticed a very bright reddish point in the sky. We watched it for several minutes; it was high above a small hill, too high to be the light at the top of an antenna or something like that. To me, it even looked slightly triangular.

 

We kept driving, and then I noticed a small point of light that shone for a fraction of a second on top of this thing. And when were talking how unusual this light was for a star, it suddenly disappeared.

 

We drove for a few more hours but didn't see it again (or anything that would've explained what was it). It was very strange.

I just remembered why I felt like SPAZ (the game) was so familiar to me... I had a dream about it back when I was in my 'dreaming the future' state when I was 6 or 7... The entire startup sequence was exactly the same as I remember it.

Yes, your probably just creating false memories and placing them in your past. My father did that when he thought he saw the ghost of Old Shook in England.
