Not getting into a debate, but 3 was a perfectly fine movie. It just generally gets lumped in with 1 and 2 as being bad.

I agree 100%. While the prequel trilogy is okay as entertainment, they just dumb down the franchise way too much...

Well, Guess I'm gonna be castrated. I actually enjoyed episode 3 UP until Darth Vader was revealed which he was a complete panzy, and one of my favorite characters was Count Deku (not sure on spelling.) Episode 1 was horrible, and Episode 2 was really uneventful to me. I like the whole Star Wars series, though not as much as Star Trek. I got a confession.. I may have gotten alittle emotional in Episode 3 of Star Wars.

 

You keep adding choices to poll its screwin up the results. I mean people could always come back and vote, but I think a new thread should just be made.

And I don't think the Star Wars prequels are as terrible as the haters make them sound, but they definitely don't reach the same level as the original trilogy, but that sort of makes me glad they didn't make the prequels as the sequels. This way you start with "shit" and end up with greatness.

I believe that they are going to make another Star Trek movie in 2012, atleast thats what somebody told me. I haven't really bothered to look into too much. I might start when it gets closer to 2012

And the Star Trek category should be split into Star Trek Even numbered films and remake and Star Trek Odd numbered films sans remake. Those who chose odds should face the same consequences as Star Wars 1,2,3.

How about I just spilt it into the original 6 with the newest (minus the very first movie), the TNG based movies, and the very first movie combined with 2001: ASO?

 

Seems like a much better split than your proposal to me...

 

Star Wars Episodes 1-3 weren't originally intended to ever be made. The 4-6 episode numbers were there simply to imply that there were some major things that happened first, and we were hopping in in the middle of a story. (and the fanbase is split on whether the prequels should ever have been made, hence the split votes)

Well, no, you don't. After seeing a few eps on BBC America, I recently bought the most recent 5 seasons/series and am working my way through them, and love them.
