Played the demo. Somehow I feel.....disappointed. But I'm not sure why. A bunch of little things I guess. Maybe I just need to get used to it's gameplay but ME3's gameplay is kinda wierd. Anderson looks like he's got dirt on his face all the time. Maybe it's because I went in with a bad mood because I couldn't get my face code from ME2 and use that. I'll try it again I guess.

Well yeah but it releases next month, and I've played demos that are exactly the same game as when it releases.

Though the one thing that bothers me the most, regardless if ME3 is amazing in every other aspect, Mordin's voice is different. Like, the new actor tries to act like the original one, but it's just not the same. And it's not like the original actor didn't want to do it, apparently he put on his twitter on some point he'd love to play the role again. So why did they change voice actors? I don't know...

Well, I usually don't care about small details. Might still be a decent game. And it's likely the demo was assembled before the game went gold anyway.

So played the demo some more and I think I'm getting used to it, and I made my Shepard right so that's good too. The gameplays still a little wierd to control but I think I'm handling it better now. Though Mordin's voice still annoys me and the kid scene during the first level is still more surreal than touching. I can safely say I'm looking forward to Mass Effect 3.

No such thing, you'll have to buy an iOS game as well if you actually want to get the best ending.

That's not true at all. The iOS games only increase your chances at getting the best ending, you can still achieve it just playing the single player, even.

Just played the demo, it's nice and long and the MP is quite enjoyable. I did have a few problems though, Mass Effect 2's combat seemed better and the melee is just as bad as before. Also, there seems to be hardly any ambient noise for some reason, which sounds really strange after the attention to detail the other two games got in the audio department.

 

It was also boring. After 30 minutes of it I just felt like playing some Tribes, I didn't feel invested in anything though that's probably because the demo is just cherry-picked parts of the game. Won't be buying it until it goes on special I guess, I still have to do another ME1 run-through because all my saves got lost when I switched PC's (my own fault). Since I haven't read any of the hype or articles I hope to be pleasantly surprised when I pick it up later in the year, though MP will be so dead by then.

Im fairly certain that this will be a good game. Not a GOTY runner, but fun and enjoyable. I really enjoy ME2 and I hope that Ill get to enjoy ME3 just as much.

Player Multiplayer. It takes a bit to get used to, but it's worth it.

 

A heads up. DON'T PLAY WITH PUBS. Get some friends together. THAT'S how you have A LOT of fun.. I say this because I played last night for like 3 hours.

 

It's pretty similar to Killing Floor. 4 players vs the AI (KF had 6). You basically fight 10 waves of enemys (same as KF). I clocked up a lot of hours in KF, so it was hard for me NOT to see the similaratys.

 

Now comes the difference. While in KF you were fighting to SURVIVE, here you get objectives from HQ. Not in all waves, thing it's random.

 

It's hard in the begining, since you don't have to many powers and weapons. So you pretty much have to rely on the person(s) next to you. Your character can level up by completing objectives and by the damage he does.

 

For example, you get up close to an enemy and fire a round from your shotgun. The other guy might not be dead, he just has like 10 hp left. Then a friend comes in and used the Vanguard charge and he get's the kill.

Since the enemy had ~240, you get 230 XP points, and he gets 10.

 

The AI uses very effectively SMOKE and FRAG grenades.

 

You can make cash while ... doing stuff. I think it's about getting good times. Not really sure. With it, you buy supply crates (TF2 LOL). They contain random items that can help you: medigel, specialized ammunition, rockets, weapon addons and a few other things. Note that MOST of these are consumables. So if you use that ammo that freezes in a match (or a mission if you wil), it wont be available after you finish. Dead or Alive.
