Snack foods

I imagine a lot of people, especially gamers, likes to enjoy some snack foods once in a while, on a late night maybe or to hold us over between meals. What's your favourite snack foods and why?

I'm absolutely bonkers about dried fruit myself, especially dried mango.

I enjoy any snack that doesn't get my fingers covered in powder or sticky. I love doritos but I hate my keyboard keys getting all covered with cheese powder... I enjoy Bizcochos when playing TF2 and a natural drink like tea or limonade so my mouth doesn't get dry...

Bizcochos:

I live in a heavily oriental neighborhood. There's three asian-brand stores within walking distance.

I have no idea what they are, or what they're made of, but they're delicious.

Speaking of squid; breaded and deep fried squid with a garlic-butter sauce is eeeeepic.

Same with scallops and fresh-squeezed lemon juice.

As for movie/gaming snacks, for me that can be anything from chips/other finger foods to an actual meal (although the latter demands pausing because one must focus on any of your three main meals like paying heed another person during a conversation).

I'm a total food nerd.

Did that take you long?

Nope, 30 secs.

(Dewey Decimal) Code Monkey Like Fritos.

Also Doritos, and BBQ Herr's potato chips.

He just kept talking and talking in one long incredibly unbroken sentence moving from topic to topic so that no one had a chance to interrupt it was really quite hypnotic...

How does one.... become.... a food nerd?

Couldn't tell ya, it just happens.

It's a form of OCD... We just like perfect foods and meals... (I have the same peculiarity)

I usually munch Cooler Ranch Doritos or ACTII Butter Lovers popcorn when watching movies, and nothing when gaming.

Drink, always some form of Mt. Dew... Preferably Livewire, or Distortion when it was out...

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.
