Hmm… not sure what I’d like more - stroke (strum?) its back or play with its belly? Ahhh… I love piano, so… Well, have to be careful with that dragon head, she looks so fearsome yet beautiful!

 

I absolutely love this! Hmmm, some ribbon… But the sense of perspective is so nice in this drawing… And the expression and detail - this eye… and the forked tongue and the hissing mouth… Geez… so nice! And this started as a simple doodle? Awww…

I meant that not showing her eyes and other facial features actually makes the emotional impact of the drawing stronger. To me at least. Maybe it's not what was intended, but art is something that's in the eye of the beholder, so...

Dammit Jeb! You're making me jealous! If only I was this dedicated (and good) at something other than video games. But nope, every time I try, I find myself back at a game. I'm stopping here, so I don't have to put this in the vent thread.

@Ninja: Aww, really, just practice! I've been drawing for like... 4-5 years now. Still can improve A LOT. My friend's excuse today for not being able to draw like me was; "You have to have talent to be good at something." But no, I think that's bullshit. XP You don't need talent. Seriously, practice makes perfect.

Now my problem is... I love the way realism looks, but I feel like I'm just NOT the realistic-drawing type. I really love my own style, but I adore the final product of realism too. UGh! Maybe I can do both. XD But I can't specialize in both. Fuck that, too much work.
