The tentacle monster boss fight was epic. So definitely "Blast pit" for me.

i wouldnt call it a fight since all you do is sneak around, press some buttons and then BOOM he is dead, but it is indeed one of the most memorable moments of HL1 (unfortunately, the tentacle monster got ripped when out of the blast pit since it is easy to dodge his attacks )

Apprehension for me, i just love when you are getting overpowered and then the game screws you and take your weapons and then forces you to get them all again (maybe because i love sequels lol),so its like the beggining of the game but harder since the game creators know you are already used to the enemies and the gameplay,so they can unleash their anger on us

The same thing was with first Gargantua. I remember, when you was chasing by it and you only had to tempt it to get close to the electicy. Then it just exploded and that's it.

There was no fight. But you remember it.

Well, I think it's good, because you don't have to just shoot such thing. You must think for awhile and that makes it more memoriable.

Maybe, but you could kill the gargantua by firing at him...A LOT

I'd say the ending with Gman. I'd been seeing him through the game, but his epilogue and the choice really came out of left field.

On a Rail... I always liked the idea of an extensive underground tunnel system big enough that I could live/dissapear down there if it was real...

Don't insult me. I have trained professionals to do that.

I personally enjoyed we've got hostiles because it's when the guys you thought were going to save you start shooting at you and trying to kill you =)

Xen was an another world with diffrent gravity, so I think it's natural, to act a bit unnormal in there.

Xen had great flora. I wish I had that creepy light thing in my room.

Oh man, Helicopters were annoying as hell there. Even more than headcrabs

Interestingly enough, I believe Xen was generally considered to be one of the weaker sections of Half-Life.
