Seems to me that it either means they don't know what a mirror is, or they're implicitly insulting my intelligence and I don't which one annoys me more.

It's dependent on two things: 1) Money, and 2) Schedule.

If I have a couple of days free (if I have a job by then), if I can afford it (it's roughly £70), then sure thing! And hey, if you can find a piano and bass amp, I'll sure to jam!

Luckily, I appear to be handling the alcohol well enough to be typing this, but not well enough to realise how much I'm going to regret everything I did this night. Still, dancing and singing to "Bohemian Rhapsody" with these complete strangers was a really cool experience.

Worth it. I hope.

Feeling much better than I was before... I had a headache, and all my muscles refused to function properly. Then I had a short nosebleed that removed about a cup of blood, and now I'm feeling MUCH better. (I like nosebleeds, they always make me feel better afterwards, so long as I don't drip on anything important before it stops)

Feeling great I passed the first day to some degree for Orientation at The Hard Rock Casino this week, not soo good that I am almost feeling like Francis Dolarhyde or Hannibal Lecter (maybe because of my slight obsession the past few weeks watching the movies and reading the books)

I feel conflicted... I really would like to learn to be a less-judgemental human being. Like... Less than the average. I just feel like I'd be so more at peace then. X3 But it's hard. Cause usually the first reaction to anything is "why?" And the only thing you see at that moment is what's in front of you and not behind the scenes.

 

Like, oh, 16 year old got pregnant? Maybe something happened. She's probably being judged by so many other people, why would I want to join that?

What about some guy who takes illegal drugs? Maybe he's just had a really rough shitty year. It's his choice - he can do what he wants.

Everyone's judgmental to some extent. That's what a first impression is. As long as you're aware that happens and are working to not do what you don't want to do I think you're already a step ahead of the average person.

 

As for me, I feel... wonderful. Like miles better than I have for the past few months. Apparently all it took to get myself closer to the me I want to be was a simple 4 day vacation. I should take those more often. I've been stress free for 4 days(which is 4 days more than normal) and I never knew it could feel this good.

So, my mic likes to transmit any computer audio over skype/discord/teamspeak/whatever whenever I mute the mic but stops doing that when I unmute it. Looking into it the only fix people where able to find was to plug it into the back of the computer instead of the front.

 

Why it even works that way I have no god damn idea but I'd much rather just hold off on watching videos while in voice chat than wrestle with cables every time. UGH.

Sounds like a couple of the wires inside the computer are either twisted around each other, (causing crosstalk, and effectively transmitting everything from the speaker side whenever the signal is weak enough for the sound card to pick it up) or you have some crossed/shared wires for your front-panel audio jacks. (some case manufacturers do this to reduce costs and number of wires, but it's a very bad practice)

 

I've had that exact same thing occur many times before as well, and more often than not, it's a shared ground wire for both the mic and audio-out.

It's instant though. I can be so silent the mic won't even show any sound being transmitted and they won't hear it but the second I switch the mute button they can make out words clearly. Switching it back immediately cuts off the audio playing over it. This goes for mute on both skype and the headsets switch.
