Apart from their console being less expensive than the competition, Nintendo is (on the business practices side anyways) very similar to Apple. (and identical fanbase)

 

Nintendo has been doing this since the original NES, it's shitty, and it's why there are Fair Use laws. Unfortunately so few people either know about them, or can afford to use them. (lawsuits are always expensive)
