It's enlightening, not so much that the show changes who you are and how you think, but rather it gives perspective on both sides of the war.

It's up to you. I watched the first episode but I'm not obsessed with it. It depends on what your personality is like, whether you become obsessed with it or not. I like the message it gives, to be loving and tolerant to everyone, and that friendship is magical.
