Mhmm... not yet, maximum speed 'round these parts is 30 Mbps (I have 15). Maybe in a year or so, I hear they are implementing FTTH (fiber to the home).

I attend the British Columbia Institute of Technology, which has a T4 Fiber Optic connection, part of the Vanouver FiOI trunk.

I can download all 9 GB of Team Fortress 2 in 15 minutes at school.

At my house: 12 Mbps down/0.90 Mbps up

 

Any more download speed would just make it far too easy to bump into the 60 GB monthly quota. I would however greatly appreciate faster upload speed, ~110 KB/s is borderline enough to have a bugfree voice/video conversation over Skype/WLM/whatever.
