General Chat

Recommended Posts

Let me start out by saying that my opinion of you has decreased, first

"Have my clothes smell like cigarettes: Check"

Normally I would see this as a byproduct of spending time with some friends or there familes, but you seem to see it as a desired outcome, this tells me that there may be more to that then you say, then agen maybe not.

"Gamble: Check"

I do not approve, I have seen people fall to this and in the end have nothing.

"Drink: Check"

I don't even need to go into why this is bad.

12 year old self-important moral authority detected. Why do you hate fun?

Dude, I'm 18. And I don't hate fun, I hate stupidity.

18? Wow, you must be pretty sad.

Since when did the general chat turn into the random thread?

Eh nevermind.

Yeah, I like to think that the general chat is the younger sibling to the random thread. Sometimes it's cool with being its own thing, but sometimes it'll try to mimic its older sibling :P

Whooves, you're a damned retard if you believed half the shit I said was meaningful in any way. Axel, I appreciate the defense, but stand back, cause I got this.

Okay, so the fact that my clothes smelled like cigarettes was a product of being with redneck friends (practically family). I would never smoke anything in my life. Get that straight, now. Taking smoke and shit into my lungs is not one of my priorities in life. This was not a DESIRED result of going down to visit them, it was an EXPECTED outcome. Checklist does not mean "Things-I-really-want-to-do list."

I did gamble. I lost an almighty 3 dollars in a friendly game of 31. That doesn't make me a gambling addict. I honestly disliked the fact that I was putting even that miniscule amount of money at risk of being lost.

And yes, I drank. I get drunk every now and again. That's because I like to have a good time. This time in particular, though, I had A can of beer, that's 1. And that was with friends and family around.

So Whooves, my advice to you is:

1. Don't be such a judgmental douchecanoe about the things people do. My opinion of somebody else never decreases unless I actually see them with my own eyes, acting like an asshole. I don't care what they do, only how they act. I know people who get off to tentacle porn and chain smoke and have piercings all over, but they're nice people, so I think no less of them and I make friends with them. So far, it's worked very, VERY well for me.

2. Don't jump to conclusions about anything unless you have the full story on it. Reading "My clothes smell like smoke" and jumping to the assumption that I enjoy smoking is absolute bullshit. I can't say I'm perfect about this; I used to assume and blame people for terrible and petty things, but now I damn well try to exhaust every possible option before I accuse someone of something or assume something about someone.

3. Don't try to act like some source of limitless wisdom just because you know a few things. Saying cliche shit like "Smoking and Alcohol are bad for you," is not going to improve anyone's opinion of you. Yes, it's true, but it's not always right. For a guy who has to work twelve-hour shifts with lazy sacks of shit at a job he absolutely despises so he can keep his family alive, I would say a few smokes or a shot of bourbon would actually be a great thing for his mental health, far outweighing any physical effects it might have.

And you wanna know something? I think a little bit less of you now, knowing that you're a judgmental, assuming, attention-whore. I thought you were a brony, dude. Doesn't that code we have mean anything to you. Have you learned nothing from it?

Life is just a time trial; it's all about how many happy points you can earn in a set period of time

Well looks like I struck a nerve there, and I thought you were the passive aggressive tipe...

First I never said that I thought you smoked, I said that I thought you saw smelling like smoke as a good thing, that is a big difference. And I thought you sa it as a positive thing from the overall tone of the post and describing it as a "kickass day". And I said that it might not mean anything.

I never said that you were a gambling addict, I said that I have seen the effects of gambiling addiction, and that I do not approve of your actions.

It dose not matter if you only drink every now and then or if it was around family and friends, what I'm worried about is the effects on your body, right now you should not drink at all, wait untell you have stoped growing.

And I don't see you saying anything about beating an animal to death, or try to justify your actions...

Fluttershy... Zach, I say the things I did and the things I am saying now because befor all this I thought so highly of you, I thought you a friend, a respectibal man, and a better man then me by far. But to see you react as you are, well I don't know what to say, and I'm afrade by saying anything at all I'm only making it worse. But I have seen too manny of my friends fall as I did nothing to stop then, never agen. So when I say your post... Well I just felt like I was seeing it all happen agen. Yes I could have handled it better, but that dose not give you reason to say things like

And you wanna know something? I think a little bit less of you now, knowing that you're a judgmental, assuming, attention-whore. I thought you were a brony, dude. Doesn't that code we have mean anything to you. Have you learned nothing from it?[

Ouch man, ouch. Have I not done better? Have I not become better? And you say I am not a brony? You think I have learned nothing from the show? NO! I have in the past been a pig among other things, but that is not me, not any more. So don't you dare say such things to me.

I honestly tried to think of something to say in regards to what happened last 2 pages, but no matter how I try, the only thing my mind can form is "Wow What the fuck."

Because honestly. What the fuck. When did we start taking shit so god damned seriously? Using controversial things like what Foal said as jokes has been something we've done since I joined. And then the backlash at Whooves. I remember when things like that were replied to with "I'm just joking dude, chill out" and not calling people "damn retards" followed by rants.

This place is not what it used to be and that saddens me.

Yeah that's right, it's MY turn to flip the fuck out.

Edit: Well, that's a sign I need a break. Be back.. idk. Whenever.
