I do have a Twitter, but as far as Facebook is concerned, I'm glad my mom forgot my password. Now I don't have to worry about getting addicted. And Twitter is so much less time consuming that I feel fine using it.

Metro 2033 is a game well worth changing the subject for!

Feel free to PM me about almost anything and I'll do my best to answer. :)

I avoid facebook like the plague. Not because I'm hipster or anything, but because Cracked has made me sure in my decision. They sell your info to companies so they can spam you with advertisements, and once you make an account it's there forever. Even if you delete it they keep your info. There's just no concept of privacy if you have facebook, it's ridiculous.

Though it's a valuable asset for police investigations. Lots of people have been rightfully arrested because of their Facebook profiles. So, in contrast, I suppose no privacy is a good thing.

No privacy is good? Wait a second, mate. Where do you live? I'm gonna go to your house, take a picture of every place there, stalk your every move and post it here. Do you think I care where you piss? No, I don't. I just want to show the world everything about your personal life.

How would you feel? Seriously dude.

Oh forget it, I didn't noticed you're from Austria.

Stalking is obviously not legal - but the police don't need a warrant to check someone's Facebook, however that doesn't necessarily stop them from acting on it. There is such a thing as due process for a reason, and I doubt you'd see some jewel thief plotting his next heist on Facebook where anyone can see it.

But for me, the problem with Facebook isn't that the police can use it, since once you post something you have no one to blame for it but yourself, but how Facebook itself has no concept of privacy. Whether you want your info known or not, Facebook sells it to advertisers without even bothering to tell you about it. There is no kind of legal protection whatsoever, and frankly I'm just not going to deal with that.

Yeah, I think it's very important to be careful about Facebook. It's a powerful promotion tool for artists and companies as they can easily create events and get a lot of buzz going for products and releases. But it's also possible to get screwed hard so I think people should be careful.

Uh...did I hit a sore spot or something? I was only saying that in that light, no privacy is an asset to police investigations. If social networking sites like Facebook are gonna log everyone's personal lives, we may as well get something back for it.

Been on facebook for three years and haven't gotten a single spam add in my email that could be linked to them. And the few that do show up? Those were for reason's like signing up to another website or forum and besides, there's a spam folder for that. And it's been working greatly for me.

This subject seems kinda touchy, so I'm going to try to change it and center everything around me again :D

So yesterday, we went to Friendly's for Ice cream. The lady who was getting my ice cream has a nut allergy, so the other two guys in the back were joking with her about it. Then one guy says "Hey, do you realize how much more fun our shift just got with you getting those wet nuts? Good on you." So we were laughing and all that jazz and I was like "I wouldn't mind working here," and the girl said "Here take an application," and I was all like "Fuck yea!" So I might get a job at Friendly's.

This Connecticut thing. I feel like this is a prelude to what people are going to do on Friday. All those poor kids. I often wish I could have been somewhere when something like that happened, just so I could make the bastard suffer. But I feel like there will be massive riots from the retards that believe this shit. Oh well.

I'm going to just stay at home on the 21st and hopefully avoid all the nut jobs who will be like "IT'S THE END OF THE WORLD LOL YOLO" and start getting high and wrecking their cars and shooting guns off. Not that I'm necessarily EXPECTING people to do that, but I prefer to be on the safe side.

My opinion, of course, is that I will wake up on the 22nd and go about my day. Anyone that expects anything else to happen is a dumbass, sorry.
